PT GMT Indonesia (GMT) is a PMA company formed in 2001 with the intention of providing high quality technical and statutory services, principally to the Indonesian minerals industry. This initial concept has been recently expanded to include a wider range of mining and mining investment services. However, the main focus of GMT remains in mineral exploration services and mineral investment.

GMT is managed by an expatriate resident of Indonesia with over 19 years experience in project management and geological technical services, with more than 13 years within Indonesia but also abroad.

Coupled with this are experienced Indonesian consultants, associates and employees covering a wide range of exploration disciplines, commodity types, exploration situations and working methods. The company maintains a series of affiliations with quality Indonesian based companies and acts as a referral service to other enterprises where services are incompatible with the GMT capability.

Now employing more than 45 geologists and additional support staff in the fields of coal and hard rock exploration, GIS management, project management, project logistics, safety and community liaison; GMT has the necessary back up to complete the tasks required in a time frame consistent with a dynamic exploration and mining industry and in a fashion tailored to the client's requirements.
